CLASS SCHEDULE SPRING 2014

BEGINNERS CAKE DECORATING:  	Wednesday FEB 26- March 26 or Wednesdays APRIL 9 - MAY 11 $35
Instructor: Andrea Cannon

     This popular 5 week class will teach you all of the basics in the art of cake decorating. You will learn flowers like sweet peas, mums and roses, as well as borders, novelty cakes and tips on baking, filling and icing cakes. A list of supplies needed is given at time of registration.

ADVANCED CAKE DECORATING:  Mondays April 21-May 19                         7 TO 9 P.M.   $35

     In this 5 week class you will continue to learn more about the fabulous art of cake decorating. You will learn more borders to use on the sides of cakes, as well as borders that can trim your cake. You will learn flowers like daisies and carnations. You will also learn everything you’ll need to know to make, bake and decorate a beautiful tiered cake that will be completed on the last night of class. A list of supplies needed is given at time of registration

ROLLED FONDANT CLASS:	Tuesday March 4 - April 1   		       7 TO 9 P.M.  $35

Learn how to cover a cake with rolled fondant and make a fondant bow & drapes. 
THINGS TO BRING TO CLASS: rolling pin, corn startch, crisco, rolling mat, fondant smoother, exacto knife, pizza cutter, non-stick cooking spray, apron, wilton fondant and gumpaste kit, lesson book, icing GEL colors, 10 lbs satin ice rolled fondant, cake dummy

FIGURE PIPING CLASS:                  Monday March 10  	                     7 TO 9 P.M.  $20

In this class you will learn how to make a variety of figures and designs in icing. 
Students must bring decorating bags, tips #3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 18 and 32, and 2 to 3 pounds of buttercream icing and a variety of food coloring.  Please pre mix colors before class. 


BEGINNERS CANDY MAKING:  	               Saturday March 29 or Sunday March 30                 12 TO 2 P.M.  $20
Instructor : Melissa Cannon-Walker
     This is a very popular candy class where people with little or no candy making experience can learn to make great homemade candy. Candies that will be taught include: peanut butter cups, chocolate covered cherries, dipped pretzels, peppermint crunch, and more!! Students will prepare all the candy and take home what they make. Class size is limited to 15 so sign up early. ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED.



EASTER EGG CLASS:   Monday April 7th or Tuesday April 8                                                7 TO 9 P.M.    $15

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD AT THE BAKERY
     In this 2 hour class you will learn how to mix, make, shape, dip, and simply decorate Candy Easter Eggs. Like most of our candy classes, you will make all of the candy and take home what has been evenly divided among the class. You will make, from scratch, peanut butter eggs, and learn to make a no-cook buttercream, coconut cream, cherry, chocolate chip, or  rainbow center for eggs. ALL INGREDIENTS AND RECIPES WILL BE PROVIDED IN CLASS. YOU MAY WANT TO BRING AN APRON OR SMOCK. Please sign up early to insure your place in class. Class size is limited.


CAKE WRITING CLASS:     Monday March 31 			 7 TO 9 P.M.  	 $10

This class will teach you how write on cakes in a professional way. You will be surprised how easy it is to write on cakes with only a short time of instruction.  ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED.

ICING ROSES FLOWER CLASS:        Tues April 22			     7 TO 9 P.M.  $15

Learn how to make the most popular of flowers for decorating cakes. 
THINGS TO BRING TO CLASS: 1 pound of buttercream icing, Tips #10, 101, 102, 103, 104, decorating bag with coupler, flower nail, wax paper squares ( about 2” in size, will need about 20-30).

SPRING FLOWERS CLASS: 	Monday March 24		     7 TO 9 P.M.  $15

Get ready for Spring with this class. Learn how to make Blossom Flowers, Violets, Pansies, Daffodils, and more! 
Each student should bring: 5 large and 5 small parchment bags (or 10 disposable bags), wax paper squares, a cookie sheet, tubes #3, 59, 101, 102, 103, 352, 104, a flower nail, lily nail, 2 pounds buttercream icing and a box to take your samples home in



PLEASE NOTE: ALL CLASSES MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE Unless you notify us at least 1 week prior to class or the class is cancelled.
